Twitter Account Change and Someone New

We have changed our Twitter account name from @ScreezeTeam back to the original name of @Screeze. If you were previously following @ScreezeTeam we suggest following the new @Screeze account.

Also, we are bringing another site into our family. We’re not going to disclose the site until all of the merger intricacies are done and over with, but we hope that you will enjoy what this newly merged site will bring to the table. HINT: We see some gaming in our future.

Lastly, sorry for the lack of posts recently. We will try our best to make sure that we post more often.

Screeze Browser Compatibility

Since the introduction of the ScreezeBar the operation of Screeze on some browsers has been negatively impacted by it. To counter this we are disabling the ScreezeBar on these browsers to make for a good browsing experience in as many situations as possible.

Visitors using the browser on the PSP or PLAYSTATION 3 systems as well as IE6 will now see a message like the one below when logged into Screeze.

New(and previous) Updates

There have been some updates to Screeze that were not posted here. Such as the new ScreezeBar and the recently removed Video Section.

The most current update appends a version number to the footer.

Because we don’t want you to think we just pulled this number out of thin air, here is a list of major previous Screeze versions. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Scheduled Maintenance (Updated)

Screeze is up for some scheduled downtime starting at 12:01 AM EST on October 3rd. This is for maintenance and feature updates. The downtime is scheduled to last until 12:01 AM EST on October 4th.

Updates on Screeze progress and maybe some screenshots will be provided on the Screeze Blog during the downtime. If Screeze is accessed during the downtime, a link to the Blog will be given so that visitors may get the relevant information.

If there is a feature you would like added during the downtime, leave a comment and we will see what we can do.

Update:

Here is a display of one of the new Screeze features and how that feature looks as of 1:03 PM EST(look may end up changing before release). We’ll leave it up to you to figure out what it is.

“Private Help”

We realize that there are some feedback for Screeze that you prefer not to share with other members, only staff. I have acknowledged this issue and therefore created the “Private Help” subforum which can be found under the Feedback forum. Here, you are able to submit a thread that contains feedback that will be viewable by staff and you, but not other members of Screeze. Please let us know your feedback on this.

Thanks. :)

Entertainment Forum

Everyone say hello to our newest forum section. Based on user feedback we have replaced the YouTube and the TV/Movies forums with the Entertainment Section.

The Entertainment Section has two sub-forums. ‘Music’ and ‘Movies, Video, and Television’. YouTube as well as TV/Movies have been merged into ‘Movies, Video, and Television’ and ‘Music’ is a completely new forum.

You can find this new section in the iScreeze category.

We hope these changes are liked and enjoyed and we look forward to more changes based on user feedback.
